Writer + Producer + Director
Mary listens. She asks questions. She works strategically with clients to translate their objectives into professional productions that engage and connect meaningfully with their target audience.
Extraordinary people. Innovative thinking. Inspired leadership. Legendary brands. Mary leads projects with a genuine love for the story, and excels at crafting content that’s evocative and germane. Her work has appeared on-air, online, at live events and on digital kiosks in Times Square.
Strong partnerships and clear communication bring optimum results. From script to screen, Mary manages production schedules, budgets and the overall goals efficiently and effectively. She works easily with people, and collaborates with sharp, creative DPs, graphic designers and editors to get the job done. She delivers on budget / on time.
She also collaborates with production teams as a consultant, writer, researcher, field producer and post-production supervisor. Whether working in-house or in the field, she’s dedicated to the integrity and excellence of the project.
Over the course of her career, Mary has had the pleasure to interview a wide array of talent, including astronaut Alan Shepard; former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright; actor Willem Dafoe; and the Soul Queen of New Orleans, Irma Thomas; along with business leaders, policy makers, artists, scientists, educators, factory workers and spiritual seekers — all with great stories to tell.
A lifelong music lover, Mary produces and hosts a monthly web radio show featuring traditional bluesmen, emerging artists, and assorted poets and prophets on wzen.org.
It’s all about the story. Mary looks forward to hearing yours.
